Howletts
On the first term of Year 5 we studied the Amazon Rainforest. We were asked to do a project on an animal in the rainforest. We had a wide variety of reports on an animal.
At the beginning we had a trip to Howletts, lots of children saw their own animals there too.
We have done a lot of drama and debated the issues on the rainforest most of us chose to save, but then thought about how the people not saving the rainforest would feel it was a difficult choice.
We designed, sewed and made Rainforest bags which we were really proud of. We made adverts for them to which were great fun.
We have started our Victorian topic and are looking forward to our Great Exhibition.
