Lion and Tiger Cubs are now settled into their first term at Kings Hill School and are getting to grips with our busy daily routine. This term we have been learning about ‘Animals and Ourselves’. We have painted our self-portraits and have shared what makes us happy with our new friends.
We are beginning to learn about sounds. We have explored our school grounds listening carefully to the different sounds we can hear, and now we have been introduced to the initial sounds and forming letters though fun activities.
This week, we have based our learning on the story of Noah’s Ark. We have been counting animals to 10, making repeated patterns with them and sorting them into groups. We have had our first PE lesson where we have become the animals from the story. What a great start to our time at Kings Hill!
