Hello, my name is Liz Knight and I joined the staff at Kings Hill School in February 2008. I have worked in schools for the past 10 years starting with Pluckley C. E Primary School with 115 pupils on roll and then at Valley Park Community School, a large secondary school in Maidstone, with more than 1000 students.
Prior to this, I spent 12 years in the City of London as a merchant banker, leaving in 1997 to spend time with my two young daughters.
As soon as my daughters started school in Pluckley, I became greatly involved in school life, being Clerk to the Governors and a very active member of the PTFA, which subsequently led to my current career in education and I haven't looked back since!

My claim to fame is that I met Prince Andrew who came to open the new extension at Pluckley School in 2004!
I thoroughly enjoy being part of the team at Kings Hill and all the challenges that working in a school brings.
