I joined Kings Hill School in September 2007 as fruit tuck co-ordinator and midday supervisor.
The next two years were spent working as a teaching assistant in year 2 which I thoroughly enjoyed and I successfully completed my NVQ level 2 in supporting teaching and learning in schools, I also qualified as a first aider.
I am currently working in year 3 as a teaching assistant and am working towards my NVQ level 3.
I really enjoy my role and get great pleasure from supporting and helping the children.
I joined Kings Hill School in July 2006 after completing my TA course. I have worked in most years across the school and can honestly say there has never been a dull moment!
Prior to joining Kings Hill School I was a Bank Manager but decided to follow my dream of working with children, so resigned and started at college!
I enjoy the challenge of helping children access the curriculum, which keeps me very busy.
My hobbies are yoga, jogging, skiing, gardening and reading.
I am currently working in Year 2, having completed my TA training in Years 3 and 5. I have been involved with Kings Hill School since 1998 as a parent, parent helper and governor. In a former life I was a nursery teacher and I love being surrounded by children – there is never a dull moment!
