Toys
This term in Year One we have been busy learning about toys. We have looked at some modern toys and we have compared them to toys from the past. We have created timelines showing what toys have been popular at different times. We have shared toys from home and toys that belonged to our parents and grandparents. Some of them have had some amazing adventures and have needed patching up here and there!
We have also been enjoying reading and writing Fairy Tales in Literacy. We have acted out some well known Fairy Tales and have had a go at storytelling to the class.
In Science we have been finding out about Light and Dark. We have thought about sources of light and different materials that reflect the light.
