Shark Class
I began my teaching career in Warwickshire with a year 4 class but decided to move to Kent. I have been teaching at Kings Hill school for 3 years where I started as maternity cover in year 4 and taught ICT across the year groups. After teaching in year 5 for a year I then moved to year 6.
As part of my role as ICT co-ordinator I run an ICT club after school. It is a great chance to work with the other year groups on some exciting projects, especially animation, robots and talking books.
Out of school I enjoy going for long walks, reading and most importantly playing on my DS!

I have always enjoyed working with children. I started my career as a private nanny looking after two children, then moved onto working in a preschool which I thoroughly enjoyed.
I then decided to gain some experience working in the school setting, so I joined Kings Hill School in 2004 as a Teaching Assistant. Since working at Kings Hill School I have taught 1:1 children and have experience of working in years 2, 3, 4 and 5. I currently work in year 4 in Dormice class and Bats class.
In 2008 I was given the opportunity to work in an independent school. I learnt a great deal from this which now benefits my work at Kings Hill.
Recently I have completed an NVQ3 in teaching and learning support and also have training in various special needs.
Out of school I am also kept very busy as I am lucky to have 2 lovely children aged 17 and 1!

I always wanted to teach and began my career in Hackney, East London and taught for a couple of years in Spain.
I then returned to Maidstone, my home town, and have taught at a number of schools in the Maidstone area. I have been at Kings Hill School for seven years now.
We have two children, Elizabeth who now teaches in London, and James who is an engineer with Ford.
My hobbies are reading, gardening and trying to keep fit. I love a challenge and am at the moment trying to teach myself Latin!

I joined the Kings Hill team back in September 2001, starting off my duties as a TA in yr6, only to find myself in yr6 once again in 2011 working with Dolphins.
In my time at Kings Hill school I have been offered many training opportunities which I have taken, to add to my many achievements, which are far too many to mention!
