'Prickly
The children in Lion Cubs and Tiger cubs were amazing this week, when they performed their Christmas play ‘Prickly Hay’.
They told the Nativity story around a character called Sam, a stable boy in Bethlehem. Sam’s job was to keep the hay clean and fresh for all the animals. No one, except for his friend Shrew, ever noticed his hard work. However, when Mary and Joseph were shown into Sam’s stable and the miraculous events took place, Sam began to realize his worth.
The whole play had a fun hoedown feel to it, which the children really enjoyed.

The remembered their lines really well and sang beautifully, in addition to performing a succession of actions and dance routines brilliantly!
