Kwik Cricket Tournament
The school cricket team played in the Tonbridge and Malling Kwik Cricket Festival at Kings Hill Sports Park on Thursday 5th July. It was one of the biggest school cricket competitions in Kent with 15 schools taking part. Even though the team, made up of year 4 and year 5 pupils, were playing against older teams, they still played fantastically well and managed to win five out of their six matches!
They convincingly beat Slade, Woodlands, St. Katherine’s, More Park and St. Margaret’s but sadly lost out to the eventual winners Ightham. The team displayed amazing batting, fielding and bowling skills and were a real credit to the school with their fantastic attitude, teamwork and good sportsmanship - well done to the team, you did us proud!
